This Privacy Policy explains how VidProc collects and uses personal data when you visit the site, create an account, upload or process videos, save templates, use the dashboard or API, contact support, or interact with billing and authentication providers.

We may collect account information such as email address, name, profile image, password hash for credential accounts, authentication provider identifiers, support messages, billing selections, and administrative account records. We do not store full payment card numbers.

When you use VidProc, we may process uploaded source videos, trimmed clips, previews, processed outputs, original file names, public API source URLs, templates, selected regions, timestamps, dimensions, duration, frame rate, codec-related metadata, job status, errors, download tokens, webhook settings, and compute usage. Videos and outputs may contain personal data about you or others, depending on the content you submit.

We may collect technical data such as IP address, user agent, session data, locale, request paths, API key usage, quota usage, timing, error logs, security events, and approximate operational diagnostics. We use this data to operate, secure, debug, and improve VidProc.

We use essential cookies or similar storage for authentication, sessions, security, and language or interface preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal data for targeted advertising in the service described by this policy.

We use information to provide video processing, previews, downloads, templates, API jobs, webhooks, account access, subscriptions, quota enforcement, support, fraud and abuse prevention, security monitoring, service improvement, legal compliance, and enforcement of our Terms.

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data as needed to perform a contract with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and securing VidProc, with your consent where required, and to comply with legal obligations. You may object to or request restriction of certain processing as described below.

We share information with service providers that help run VidProc, such as hosting, storage, database, queue, authentication, payment, email, logging, security, and support providers. We may also share information with your chosen webhook endpoint, with an organization account administrator where applicable, in a business transfer, to comply with law, to protect rights and safety, or with your direction or consent.

If you sign in with Google or GitHub, those providers may send us authentication information such as your name, email address, profile image, and provider account identifier. Payments and customer portal functions are handled by Creem or another displayed payment provider. If you configure API notifications, job status and output download information may be sent to the notify URL you provide.

We retain account, subscription, quota, template, API, job, and support records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account history, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with law, and keep reasonable backups. Download links may expire, including API download links that may expire after about 24 hours, but link expiry is not the same as deletion of all underlying records or files. You may contact us to request deletion, subject to legal, security, billing, and backup limitations.

We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including salted password hashes, hashed API keys, signed download tokens, SSRF checks for submitted URLs, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your credentials, devices, API keys, source URLs, webhook endpoints, and downloaded outputs.

VidProc and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual protections, or other safeguards.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of personal data, withdraw consent, opt out of sale or sharing where applicable, and appeal certain decisions. We do not sell personal data and do not use submitted videos to train AI models. To exercise rights, contact us through the Contact page; we may need to verify your request.

VidProc is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action. Users who are minors in their location should use VidProc only with permission from a parent or guardian.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, laws, or providers change. The updated date shows when the policy was last revised. Privacy questions, deletion requests, rights requests, or security concerns should be sent through the Contact page.
