Important: VidProc is for authorized video restoration, editing, and workflow automation. Do not use it to remove watermarks, logos, copyright notices, platform marks, or other rights-management information unless you own the content or have clear permission.
Agreement to These Terms
These Terms govern your access to and use of VidProc, including the web application, dashboard, templates, downloads, API, and related support. By using the service, creating an account, uploading a file, submitting a source URL, or using an API key, you agree to these Terms. If you use VidProc for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
What VidProc Does
VidProc helps users process videos by applying FFmpeg-based region filters to areas selected by the user. The service may upload, store, trim, preview, process, and export video files, and API users may submit public source URLs and saved templates for server-side processing. VidProc does not determine whether you have the legal right to alter or distribute a video.
Accounts, API Keys, and Security
You are responsible for the activity under your account, credentials, sessions, saved templates, and API keys. Keep API keys confidential, rotate them if exposed, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use. We may rate-limit, suspend, revoke, or require re-authentication where needed to protect the service or other users.
Your Content and Limited Processing License
You keep your rights in videos, source URLs, templates, regions, metadata, outputs, and other materials you submit. You grant VidProc a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transcode, modify, create previews, create outputs, transmit downloads, send requested webhooks, provide support, troubleshoot, secure the service, and enforce these Terms. This license ends when no longer needed for those purposes, subject to retention, backups, legal obligations, and abuse-prevention needs.
Authorized Use Only
You may use VidProc only for content you own, control, created, are licensed to modify, or are otherwise legally authorized to process. A watermark, logo, creator tag, platform mark, or visible notice can carry ownership, attribution, license, or other rights-management meaning. You must not remove or obscure such information to misrepresent authorship, ownership, endorsement, licensing status, source, or compliance with a platform or marketplace rule.
Prohibited Conduct
You must not use VidProc to infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, moral, contractual, or other rights; evade DRM, access controls, paywalls, download restrictions, or platform terms; process stolen, leaked, non-consensual, or unlawfully obtained media; impersonate others; create deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading outputs; or distribute outputs in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
You must not probe, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass quotas, abuse free tiers, share accounts or API keys, submit malicious files or URLs, interfere with security controls, or use the service for unlawful, harmful, or high-risk purposes.
Outputs and Distribution
Processed outputs are derived from your inputs and instructions. You are solely responsible for reviewing outputs before use, keeping any legally required attribution or notices, obtaining additional permissions, and deciding whether an output may be published, sold, uploaded, or otherwise distributed. VidProc does not guarantee that an output is lawful, non-infringing, platform-compliant, or suitable for your use case.
Plans, Quotas, Billing, and Refunds
Free and paid plans may include limits on duration, daily jobs, compute budget, file handling, API access, and other features. Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, and taxes or fees may apply. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew until canceled, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and consumed processing, API usage, and completed exports are non-refundable. We may correct pricing or quota errors, change plans prospectively, and refuse abusive refund requests.
Third-Party Services, Source URLs, and Webhooks
VidProc may rely on providers for authentication, payment, hosting, storage, databases, email, and infrastructure. API users who submit source URLs represent that VidProc is authorized to fetch and process those URLs. If you configure a notify URL or webhook secret, you are responsible for the receiving endpoint and for protecting any job status, download link, or other data sent to it.
Rights Complaints and Enforcement
If we receive a credible legal, copyright, trademark, privacy, security, or abuse complaint, or if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms, we may remove or disable access to content, block jobs, revoke downloads or API keys, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve records, notify affected parties, or disclose information where permitted or required by law. Repeat or serious violations may lead to permanent termination.
Privacy and Data Handling
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and share personal data and processing data. Because videos can contain personal information, confidential information, minors, faces, voices, locations, or third-party creative work, you should not submit sensitive or third-party material unless you have the rights and authority to do so.
Service Availability and Disclaimers
VidProc is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Video processing quality depends on the source, selected regions, timing, resolution, codec, and FFmpeg behavior. We do not promise perfect removal, uninterrupted service, data availability, preservation of files, legal compliance of outputs, or compatibility with every browser, codec, platform, or workflow. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Liability, Indemnity, and Changes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidProc and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or claims arising from your content, outputs, or misuse of the service. You agree to indemnify VidProc and its operators against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your content, outputs, use of the service, or violation of these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
